1Hope4All Service Update Announcement

Dear 1Hope4All Member,

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you and we trust that you have been enjoying our service. This web page is presented to you so that we can familiarize you with new features that have been added to the service.

The most notable change is that now a list of all the media that has been delivered to your PC, along with the media that is in the process of being delivered, are all displayed on the same page. This is also the page where you will actually view or listen to the media. We refer to this page as the ‘Hope On-Demand Media Manager’.

If you wish to access the Hope On-Demand service now and not read through the improvements listed below, please click here.

Improvements Overview

The changes that we have made that improve your viewing experience include:

  1. Managing deliveries of new media by enabling you to:

o       see all the media that is being delivered to your hard disk

o       see in real time how much of a media file has been delivered in percentage (%)

o       ‘Pause’  and ‘Resume’ all media deliveries whenever you need to, especially in the event when you would like to make more Internet bandwidth to perform other Internet related tasks
  1. Managing the delivered Content by:

o       Enabling you to identify the media files that have been delivered and are ready to be viewed.

o       Showing all media files that have been delivered ‘Available’ status with a ‘Play’ button showing

o       Enabling you to see critical data for each media file that is either being delivered to your PC or already has been delivered to your PC. The critical data displayed includes:
      • Expiration Date of the media/file (the date when the media will no longer be available for you to view/access).

      • The Size of the media file

      • Ability to ‘Delete’ any media that you have seen at least once

      • Display of the media file type (e.g. Windows Media Player (WMP), PDF, etc..)

  1. Enhancing the Media Viewing, Listening, or Access experience by

o       Enabling you to have a more interactive experience with media that you are watching or listening to while you watch or listen to a selected media. For example, information about the media will appear and remain there until the media stops playing or you select another media file to access, including providing a link to the content provider’s web site

o       Providing a more interactive environment in respect to commercials that are playing by having a banner appear that corresponds to the commercial being played, including a link to the advertisers website
  2.  Sharing your viewing experience:

o       An ‘Invite Friends/Family’ feature has been added so as to enable you to share the service with your friends and relatives. ‘Invite a Friend/Family’ button will allow you to send a link to your friends and relatives so that they can also join the community and enjoy the service with you.

o       You can now save on your hard disk, a media file that you liked for viewing it again and again, in some cases, even allowing you to burn a copy of this content to a DVD or CD.  If the media owner allows you to save the delivered content, then a link that says ‘Save File’ will appear.  To make it easy for you to save the file, we have elected to use standard Windows commands.  So, when you see the ‘Play’ button, you can click on the ‘Save File’ link, simply
      • ‘Right Click’ on the link

      • Select on ‘Save Target As’

      • Select the location on your hard disk where you would like to save a permanent copy of the selected content/file

      • name the content/file

      • hit ‘Save’

We thank you for taking the time to learn more about the new features that we have added to our service. Please click here to access your improved Hope On-Demand service.
